Built specifically for the legendary Edelbrock X1 Ram 6×2 intake, this complete Stromberg direct linkage kit delivers smooth throttle action, clean looks, and the quality hot rodders expect from Genuine Stromberg parts.
Designed and manufactured exclusively by Stromberg Carburetor, these 6×2 linkage systems completely change the game for multi-carb setups. Every kit arrives pre-assembled and engineered for simple installation without the need for extended throttle shafts. From the Back-bar assembly to the carburetor linkage and return springs, everything is included to get your six-carb setup working right.
This kit is supplied ready-to-fit for the Edelbrock X1 Ram intake.
NOTE: Reference photos may show an Offenhauser intake. The supplied dimensions and components are configured specifically for the EdelbrockX1 Ram manifold.

- Two stainless steel Back-bar brackets with rolled ends
- Oilite self-lubricating bushes
- Two small spacer washers for base casting height variations
- Stainless steel Back-bar shaft
- Two stainless steel shaft end stops
- Two pinned long linkage levers with swivels and clamping screws
- Two stainless steel links from Back-bar to center carburetors
- Six 9091K Superlink throttle levers with swivels
- Two special swivels for rod end mounting
- Two long link rods
- Four Stromberg “Snapback” throttle return springs
Designed for maximum tuning flexibility, Stromberg’s 6×2 systems can be configured to operate on two, four, or all six carburetors depending on your setup and driving style. The long Back-bar levers feature three upper mounting locations to help fine-tune throttle response and leverage.
For best results, Stromberg recommends using a mechanical pedal linkage with all multi-carb systems. The Back-bar can connect directly using one of the supplied long levers, or you can add an additional long linkage arm using Stromberg Kit 9096K for custom pedal alignment and pull geometry.

Important Notes
- Carburetors and intake manifold are NOT included
- Will NOT fit Holley or Edelbrock 94 carburetors
- Idle mixture screws on 94-style carburetors interfere with bracket mounting locations designed for Stromberg 97 carburetors
